SSAW pipe applications
SSAW pipe is formed from steel coil with a spiral weld seam, making it suitable for a broad range of large-diameter requirements. Common applications include water transmission, foundation piling, structural columns, casing and selected oil and gas pipeline duties where the specified standard permits its use.
Standards, testing and dimensions
Enquiries may reference API 5L, ASTM A252, AWWA C200 or other project specifications, subject to mill capability and end-user approval. Hydrostatic testing, ultrasonic or radiographic inspection, dimensional reports and mill test certificates can be included when required.

Project-specific coating coordination
Coating enquiries can be aligned with the pipe quantity, surface-preparation requirement, coating standard, dry-film thickness, cutback, holiday testing, marking and inspection plan. Saudi Aramco or other end-user specifications should be provided with the RFQ for technical review.
